摘 要 
随着智能手机的日益普及，智能手机越来越广泛的被应用在各个层面。与此同时，针对智能手机保密工作的重要性也在迅速的增加。Symbian操作系统是全球为数较多的智能型手机所选用的作业平台之一，所以研究基于Symbian操作系统智能手机的安全防护问题具有一般性。正是基于这样的背景，才提出了基于Symbian智能手机的短信管理软件课题。
本文主要实现了基于Symbian S60平台的手机短信管理软件的设计。本文详细介绍了Symbian OS的基础知识，Series 60平台的结构和特点以及如何在Series 60平台下开发手机应用程序，包括配置相应的软件开发IDE，模拟器（Simulator）的使用。接着简介了Symbian操作系统的基础知识和实现短信管理程序所需了解的SMS相关知识，包括一些重要的类，消息服务框架，以及接收，读取，创建，发送短信的过程。最后阐述了基于Carbide C++实现每一个模块的详细设计和编码实现过程。仿真结果显示本软件能够很好的实现短信的接收、发送及短信过滤等功能。且运行良好，输出的信息正确无误。

The Design of SMS Management Software Based On Symbian Platform

ABSTRACT
With the growing popularity of smart phones, smart phones have been widely used at all levels. At the same time, the importance of confidential work for the smart phone is also rapidly increasing. Symbian operating system has been chosen as one of the global relatively large number of smart phone operating platforms.Thus the study on security issues of the Symbian OS smartphone. Based on this, the subject of the message management software based on Symbian smartphones has been proposed.
This article introduces how to comply an application which can manage SMS. This passage first introduces the basic knowleage including Symbian OS,the figures and structure of the Series 60 platform, configuring the software development IDE and the use of the simulator.Then the relevant knowleage concerns SMS,including message service framework and how to receive a message, read a message, create a message, send a message are introduced in this article. At last the detailed design and coding of each module based on Carbide C++ are introduced. After a trial in the simulation results show that the software can receive, send and filter SMS and the output information is correct.
