摘要 在我们的日常生活中，英语变得越来越重要。对于非英语专业的学生来说，英语不仅是一门工具，更重要的是培养他们的人文素质和跨文化意识。词汇是学习英语的基础，词是物的表征，是思想的载体，是意义的源泉，是历史的见证，是文化的积淀。英语单词就像大海之水，让众多想学好英语的人们不知道如何快速和准确地记忆单词。英语单词又像一座大山，它阻挡着人们通往英语王国的道路。词汇之语法，有如砖之与混凝土，它们共同构筑了意义的大厦。我所写的这篇论文，是在借鉴前人所写的有关词汇的书籍基础上，结合单词的构词法，词的前缀和后缀的规律以及记忆单词的方法等，总结出了一些记忆单词的新方法。本论文定能够使一些非英语专业的学生在学习英语的过程中受益匪浅，并且使他们能够有选择地找出一些适合自己的词汇记忆方法，快速地增大他们的词汇量和提高他们的英语水平。

Abstract English is becoming more and more important in our daily lives. And vocabulary is the foundation of English learning. English words are like the sea, making people not know how to remember them rapidly and exactly. Vocabulary is also like a great mountain which stops the way towards the English kingdom. This thesis mainly introduces the sources of vocabulary, the word-formation and the methods of remembering words. I hope that these methods will make you benefit a lot in the process of learning English vocabulary.
