本文利用J-Y. Yao所证明的超越性判别法,研究了在有限域的函数域上超几
何函数的超越性, 本文主要论证了以下两个结论:
1、当超几何函数中位于分子部分的参数个数严格少于位于分母部分的参数个数
时，若自变量取非零有理分式，则函数值在函数域上超越。
2、当超几何函数中位于分子部分的参数个数等于位于分母部分的参数个数时，
在某些情况下函数值在函数域上代数。

ABSTRACT
In this article we study the transcendence of values of hypergeometric functions
in the setting of function ?elds over ?nite ?elds. We have proved two main results:
(i)If the number of parameters appearing at the denominator of the coe?cients is
strictly large than the number of parameters appearing at the numerator, the values
at nonzero rational arguments of hypergeometric function is transcendental.
(ii)If the number of parameters that appearing at the denominator of the coe?cients
is equal to the number of parameters appearing at the numerator, the values of hyper-
geometric function could be either transcendental or algebraic. This artical uses the
criterion of transcendence developed by J-Y Yao.
